Announcements

Councilmember Tom LaBonge, 4th District

Dear Los Feliz Friends,

I am happy to report that the long awaited traffic signal is presently being installed at the intersection of Hillhurst and Finley Avenues.  This traffic signal will improve the Los Feliz Village area making it a more pedestrian-friendly place.  Please join us for the official ceremony to switch on the new traffic light: Tuesday, June 22nd at 1:00 PM.

Even as the City of Los Angeles' faces budget constraints we were able to work with the Community Redevelopment Agency and the Department of Transportation to identify funding for this project to make conditions safer and more pleasant for pedestrians, vehicles, and bicyclists in the East Hollywood area.  Thank you for your patience in seeing this much needed public safety improvement come to fruition and for working with me to make your community a safer place to live, work, and shop.

If you have any questions, please call me 213-485-3337 or contact my Field Deputy Mary Rodriguez, for the Los Feliz / East Hollywood area, at mary.d.rodriguez@lacity.org or 818-766-7187.

Dan Sandman, GGPNC Public Safety Chair
